Welcome, Patrick Hoopes
Please join us in welcoming Patrick Hoopes as our newest Creative Director at Drake Cooper!
Patrick struck a chord with us early on — not only in his depth of experience with clients but as a candidate who embodies what our goals are as an agency. His creative style is unique and unexpected, and he offers a genuine sincerity to his work that is infectious.
Patrick’s career began as a copywriter at Sponge in Chicago. He steadily rose through the ranks to become Associate Creative Director before jumping to GTB, formerly Team Detroit. There he honed his creative chops pitching to auto executives, Mad Men-style (minus the cigarettes and whiskey) once a month. He then ventured client-side for a stint before coming to his senses and accepting a Creative Director role at 90Octane in Denver.
Beyond his concept and copywriting skills, Patrick has solid creative experience across multiple media — working in digital, studio/production, social, mobile, and content creation areas. Leading creative for clients like Ford, Visa, Sears, Kerrygold, Ticketmaster, Autozone, The Privatebank, Potbelly, Paladina Health, Penguin Publishing, Ibotta, and The Clinton Foundation makes Patrick a great fit for our clients while widening our knowledge of the industry as an agency.
Patrick has started with DC from his home in Colorado and will be officially making the move to Boise in the coming weeks.
“I couldn’t wait to join a team with so much talent and just the right amount of weird. Let’s make EVERYTHING. ”
Outside the office, Patrick is an avid mountain biker, skier, reader, bourbon enjoyer, and music lover. So, he’s going to hate Idaho. If you see him wandering the trails with his dog, Billie Holiday, give him a friendly wave. And, tell him we’re cool.
