Trumpet sounds as a TITLE CARD shows:
It’s time for “EL HUEVO STUPENDO”
followed by an egg timer ding punctuating the addition of an exclamation point:
“!”
ANNOUNCER VOICE
After his horrible defeat at the Fair en la Plaza, El Huevo was left picking up the pieces. He was simply no match for the likes of El Pollo Bizzarro. He was bested in strength…
El Huevo is seen cracking under pressure of heavy weight.
ANNOUNCER VOICE (CONT’D)
Bested in steel…
El Huevo is seen impaled by a sword.
ANNOUNCER VOICE (CONT’D)
And even bested in pageantry!
El Huevo is seen with a headdress and cape that fall off.
ANNOUNCER VOICE (CONT’D)
And so our lonely hero walked away from la Plaza with more than just his ego bruised.
El Huevo walks out of frame with pieces of shell behind him. Various shots of him walking over the following:
ANNOUNCER VOICE (CONT’D)
But as he walked, he thought to himself. And he thought some more. And he walked some more. And he thought deeper. And he walked farther…
El Huevo is seen approaching train tracks.
ANNOUNCER VOICE (CONT’D)
And then it hit him like… a train!
El Huevo walks over the tracks safely to the other side then stops suddenly and turns around.
ANNOUNCER VOICE (CONT’D)
Not literally; just “LIKE” a train. He finally knew what he had to do. And what he had to do… was train.
The sound of a train roars over the narration. Shots of El Huevo training in exercises of skill, strength and mind. Most exercises leave him wounded, cracked, even completely smashed.
ANNOUNCER VOICE (CONT’D)
And so… El Huevo trained and trained until the training left him running on steam. Then he steamed. And when he had built up his shell strong enough, he knew he would return to the Fair en la Plaza. This time, with gusto…
El Huevo is seen in shiny full shell. He turns around to reveal his new golden emblem across his chest.
ANNOUNCER VOICE (CONT’D)
… And a new look.
El Huevo Stupendo theme begins to play.
ANNOUNCER VOICE (CONT’D)
Will Huevo Stupendo pull himself together? Will he return to beat El Pollo Bizzarro? Will he? WILL HE? Maybe next time on…
