We’re thrilled to welcome Swiftera to the Draper Associates portfolio. Swiftera’s geospatial imaging and sensing platform will bring unprecedented frequency and quality for terrestrial imaging.
Swiftera helped us imagine a world where high-quality, city-level imaging is persistent and broadly accessible. We are immensely excited by the opportunities this can unlock in several industries and are excited to invest in Swiftera’s vision of the world (only pun in the post, I promise).
Above all, we were blown away by the calibre of Rema, Ignasi and Albert — who turned their academic research and their past work at space agencies and aerospace companies into the foundation of Swiftera’s platform.
Our conviction has only doubled in working with Swiftera these last few months, and in seeing their relentless focus on execution. Rema is a force of nature and we are excited to be working with her.
