  1. A mini game for four hours

by Mariapaola Gentile

http://belvita.resn.co.nz/

This website is created by resn agency (https://www.resn.co.nz). Resn is a creative agency that works with clients to create and deliver a valuable engagement with their brand. And what they do with belVita brand, an energy Biscuits brand, is an example of their type of work with interactive site. Resn describes the site in this way: “We gave users personalized website that lasted four hours, featuring a selection of crazy, bite-sized games.”

The interesting thing of this idea is the personalization of the website for the users and the limited time frame, in fact the link for the site is given only to twitter users that use the hashtag #MorningWin and every user receives a different link based on their tweet and profile picture, and the link lasted only four hours, the time frame is given because the belVita bites give energy for four hours.

Although the games are not all exciting, the way resn has managed to find 15 different interactions with only the use of the mouse that gives the user the possibility to interact with the page is very interesting.

by Kira Pyatakova

The website was created by the American collective of artists named Feral Cat Den. It’s a teaser of a game from the Kickstarter, named Busk til Dusk. Busk til Dusk is an interactive prologue to Genesis Noir, an adventure game that takes place before, during, and after the Big Bang. It’s a good example, which provides exiting interaction, great graphics and deep work with sound.

The task for a user is to help the musician to collect money from the pedestrians. To do this, a user needs to create and constellations and jazz loops for the contrabass using different starts.

This site teaches you words of Marra, an Australian Aboriginal language that is slowly being forgotten. By using your microphone, you learn how to speak phrases in Marra in order to progress through the website. As you learn more about Marra you also learn about the story and motivation behind the website. At the end of the website, you are taken to the map of Australia, giving you the option to share Mother’s Lingo to help keep the language alive.

4. Talk to yourself more

by Ivana Riva

NAB — Yourself is an experience designed by Clemenger BBDO Melbourne for NAB, an australian business bank, within the ‘More than Money’ campaign.
The user is invited to talk to himself, answering some questions in which he has to present his tastes and expectations for the future. In the splashscreen they say: “Scan your face and talk to you about what you really want in life.” NAB claims that when you know what you really want, that’s when they can really help; so they developed this experience that helps figuring it out.

At the beginning, through a facial webcam scan, the user’s face is assimilated to a silhouette, which is customizable at your choice (hair, eyes, nose, mouth). Then there is a question section where, through the microphone or typing, it is possible to answer. Afterwards the various parts of the face are colored and texturized according to the answers. At the end there is your personalized avatar and you can save it.
