Before we dive into the update

I’d like to first apologize to the entire Bullclip community on behalf of the team. We are sorry for keeping you in the dark for so long.

The team has been very busy working in partnership with many of our users over the long winter months to carve, shape and refine Bullclip into the game changing PDF markup and live collaboration tool the AEC industry deserves.

We haven’t shared any of our progress with you and for this, we are sorry.

Good News! This radio silence is about to change as we emerge from our (Australian) winter hibernation. So can look forward to a lot more news about our updates and activities over the coming months.

In case you didn’t notice….

There have been a number of notable improvements to the application that were quietly slipped into the Bullclip platform over the course of 2017. Many of these are already in use, however they definitely deserve some extra attention for those of you that haven’t discovered them.

Our iOS application is out of Beta

Not using a Windows 10 device? Got an iPhone or iPad for work or play?

Bullclip is now available on iOS, and fully supports the Apple Pencil. Download Bullclip from the iOS store and start marking up today.

Some added flare to the Windows 10 app

At Drawboard we’re all about building products that feel natural and are a pleasure to use every day. For this reason we have completely re-designed the Bullclip Windows 10 app to be the tool you want to keep using at work. We know you will love this new layout.

The project home screen now follows a tile structure and makes better use of your project images.

The Drawings and Documents lists are now bigger and much easier to navigate.

Downloads now SIX times faster

Downloading your drawings from the cloud to your device is now SIX times faster than it was, making offline work so much easier. Simply Select the items you will need access to offline and hit Synchronize to download the drawing and all the annotations to your device before going offline.

Swipe away the tears

One of our most popular requests since the beginning was, ‘I have a touch screen device so why can’t I simply swipe across to the next item on my drawing list?’

Well now you can, with the new Swipe to next Drawing feature. Just swipe across the touch screen and flip through your drawing set quickly and with ease.

Note: this functionality is available in the iOS and Windows 10 app and will soon be added to the web browser app too.

Release season has started

As we enter the festive season, we recognize that this is a very busy time for everyone with calendars filled with Holidays, Christmas parties and New Year events. Despite all these welcome distractions, this December-Januray period is shaping up to be a very big one for Bullclip with a series of big releases scheduled to go live.

In fact, part one of our festive season feature feast has just been delivered with a number of powerful new additions to the Bullclip platform.

Chat alongside your Markups

Up until now, all collaboration power has rested with sharing markups and publishing new documents to you project team. Any other form of communication had to be done outside the Bullclip platform through email, phone call or through a messaging app.

With our new Timelines tool, real-time comment communication can happen alongside your Drawings and Documents all within the Bullclip app. No more splitting collaboration functions across apps. Get it all done in Bullclip.

New Upload Templates

Bulk-uploading drawing sets has traditionally been a painful process, adding unnecessary administrative time to a platform that is supposed to help you work faster. We’ve taken a big step to improving that with the recent introduction of our upload templates tool to automatically match your drawing information with your title block data using Optical Character Recognition.

Title block templates will automatically read and import all title block information from your drawings and add them to the upload fields. No more manual entry; just review, publish and get on with the real project work.

Tags across all platforms

We’re not huge fans of digging through folder structures to find the document we need. There is a better way and we’ve incorporate it into the Bullclip platform.

Custom Tag Search is now supported across all platforms (Windows 10, iOS and the web app), it’s easy to find exactly what you need, when you need it.

Tagging gives you more power when searching, on-screen clutter is removed, and the control you have over categorizing your files is limited only by how many tag combinations you can imagine.

More to come

The fun doesn’t stop there, stay tuned for part two of our festive season feature festival as we continue to build out the Bullclip platform to solve your biggest PDF collaboration problems.
