Smoking Marijuana can be a killer, especially on the throat and lungs. When inhaled, the smoke expands, sometimes to the point of coughing it back out violently. There are times when it feels as if your lungs themselves are being ejected from your body and hung out to dry over your lower lip.
Oddly, what one usually says after a death toke like that is “Woe! Good hit!” — cough, cough.
