DRC — February Update
DRC is back for another monthly update!
In this month’s article, we wanted to go over what was accomplished in January and talk about our plans for the month of February.
Looking Back
January was another month of growth and expansion for DRC. The number of wallets holding DRC, members in our Telegram, and followers on Twitter all grew considerably as the number of people learning about Digital Reserve Currency continued - with the help of our community, as well as marketing. DRC also appreciated in value compared to the month of January as investors learn about DRC’s use case as a Digital Store of Value and await for the release of the Digital Reserve platform. Over a three-month period, DRC’s value has appreciated over 1,250%.
The marketing efforts by the DRC Foundation have also helped to increase awareness of DRC in additional markets such as Russia, South America, and Africa. Thanks to the global reach of our DRC Foundation, we have been successful in entering new markets and educating people on DRC and its ecosystem. In addition to breaking into new markets, DRC was featured in Forbes and CoinRise, added to Delta and Zapper portfolio trackers, and completed a few AMAs in Telegram groups and on Youtube.
January was also a month of development for the Digital Reserve platform. Our developer If.x, has been hard at work developing our platform and wanted to share a few updates regarding what has been completed. We thank him for his continued diligence in getting the platform completed.
Accomplished in January
We are still on track for a Q1 2021 launch with the following tasks accomplished in January:
- Digital Reserve Platform and Smart Contract documentation completed
- Successful testing completed on the DR Smart Contract on the Ropsten Test Network
- DR Vault allocations for Portfolio 1 and 2 have been created
- DR front-end UX has begun
Looking Forward
For the month of February, further development of the Digital Reserve is planned with the following tasks being worked on or completed:
- Complete front-end development
- Further testing on Ropsten Network
- Security Audit of DR
- Beta testing for DRC GEN00 NFT Holders
Platform
DRC GEN00 NFT holders have begun testing the platform! As our users test the platform, we are doing some final tune ups to make sure everything is working as best as possible before launch. If you would like to participate in the beta, visit our Foundation Fund page for more information. There are only 57 spots remaining and 100% of the funds received will be used to advance DRC through efforts such as marketing, listings, and more! In addition to participating in the beta, you also get access to news first in our separate Telegram channel, with more benefits coming. To date, over 20 ETH have been contributed to the Foundation. We are grateful for the faith and trust our community has and are excited to explore new opportunities for DRC as our increasing budget allows.
Outreach
In addition to completing development on the Digital Reserve. DRC plans on increasing its marketing efforts to continue raising awareness for DRC and its ecosystem. DRC has found great success in text-based marketing through featured articles and press releases. As we look to increase marketing for DRC, additional avenues of marketing such as visual and social marketing are being planned. Marketing in various languages such as Russian, Portuguese, Chinese, Arabic, and Indonesian have allowed DRC to begin building strong pillars of foundation in all corners of the world. We will be working alongside various influencers across the world to continue spreading awareness about DRC. We are also exploring possible listings with various exchanges, but more information on that a little later.
Video content
Lastly, we are working on building a community video of DRC holders! Users can submit short videos saying, “I am from XXX and I am a DRC holder!” being as creative as they would like! If you would like to submit a video, you can send it to drcfoundation@protonmail.com, or you can submit it to one of our social media channels. To date, 15 members have submitted videos from all parts of the world. We are looking forward to seeing DRC’s reach as we continue building momentum!
