The complex systems are systems in which the individual parts are affected by local interactions, which then cause changes in the overall structure.
So complex systems are divided into sub-assemblies, sub-components that react in unison aginst external or internal information.
They are coupled with the environment they occupy, and are susceptible to even small environmental variations.
The system is modified in a plastic manner when it comes in contact with a question to which it is susceptible, and activates a series of reactions of different kind and type.
These produce an organized, coordinated, harmonious, orderly and comprehensive Which Involves a restructuring of the entire system .
The system can react with very different modes and different. The number of possible solutions and behavior is undetermined , very high but finite.

Some examples of complex systems :
The weather system, economic, psychological, biological and in general that living .
Their behavior is unpredictable , except in a very partial, inexact and probabilistic.
The accuracy of our prediction will be directly proportional to the accuracy of the parameters that we can measure, the completeness of the equations and related calculations necessary for the description of the system, and to the knowledge of all the variables in play.

Computing is the ability of a system to store information, process and transmit.
Stephen Wolfram, the genius of our time, shows us with an empirical study of very simple computational systems, THE NATURE CODE called Cellular Automata.

Cellular Automata let you explore in real time the universe, learn about
the technical virtues and visualize interesting pattern.

Cellular Automata are:

• powerful computational systems ,

• discrete simulators of dynamical systems ,

• toy-universe to study the notion of complexity and pattern formation

• are models of the fundamental layer of physical reality.

With these ingredients, Cellular Automata can be used to model an impressive variety of phenomena: from gas in a closed space to eletronic circuits, from neural networks to cristal formation, from animal evolution to war strategies.
