Wicket-Keeper —
J Simpson bats in the middle order while Wheater opens the batting. If Wheater plays, then he is a must pick, otherwise, Simpson will become default pick.
BATSMEN-
A De Villiers D Malan V Chopra C Delport N Gubbins T Westley. Abd needs no description, default pick, and default cap choice. There is some uncertainty over Chopra but if he plays, then he will be a must pick. Tom Westley is another good pick from Essex in the batting order. Cam Delport is a T20 specialist and he is a must pick. Apart from him, N Gubbins and S Eskinazi are other good options too in the batting order. Gubbins is a very good punt today. D Malan was struggling from the form in Royal London cup. But he is a very good batsman when it comes to T20s. Another must-have player.
ALLROUNDERS:
R Bopara R Ten Doeschate P Stirling. Doeschate comes at 9.5cr and that’s too much according to me. For another good player, Doeschate will be sacrificed. P Stirling is must-have in this section and possible VC pick also. Stirling is in red hot form at the moment.
BOWLERS:
S Finn Mujeeb A Zampa M Amir T Roland Jones. M Amir and Mujeeb are must-have. Mujeeb can bag some early wickets as English batsmen are weak against spin. While Amir we all saw in WC, how deadly he is in these conditions. A Zampa is a proven T20 performer and so is Finn. Both are wicket-taking bowlers. Zampa comes at 8.5cr and is a leggie so he’s a better option here.
