WHMCS has just released it’s 7.1 beta version presenting new features to the previous platform. Looking at the soon-to-become past, WHMCS has surprised us with October’s release of the 7.0 — it had the most requested updates, like auto updater, best selling TLD’s spotlight and PHP 7 support. Now, we are able to have a look on the 7.1 beta version. What’s going to change?

New Admin Dashboard

There are some dashboard changes, that will improve the performance and render up to 50% faster than the old dashboard. The overview of your activities will be more complete, and the overview easier to analyse. The board shows daily income & orders and colour marked pending orders, tickets, cancellations & failed actions in a nice, user friendly way.

Premium Domains

If you want to be in charge of the domain market, here’s a feature for you. WHMCS 7.1 will make selling premium domains easier. The new version supports eNom and ResellerClub (and all Logicboxes modules) premium domains, but you can implement other domain registrars. Also, ResellerClub users can enjoy the feature of domain suggestions, or in other words, Domain Namespinning that will provide your client’s with intelligent domain name search.

Stripe Payment Module

WHMCS has introduced Official Stripe payment gateway module, that enables Stripe — popular direct online payment processor, that does not require registering and maintaining an account. Now, Stripe credit card payments are fully compatible with WHMCS and easy to reach for, by the end clients.

Better Performance

The updated version of WHMCS is said to perform quicker load times (up to 25% faster) and reduce external requests (up to 50% less). Moreover, 7.1 has an Automation Task Tracking feature, that allows to monitor automation tasks in detail, a new Completed Status that marks products and services as complete and a new way of tracking module API command failures, called Module Queue.
