Meet the Venture Partner: Jeppe Schytte-Hansen — Bringing his B2B SaaS company-building experience

We are welcoming a new Venture Partner, Jeppe Schytte-Hansen. Jeppe brings extensive experience in the B2B SaaS space, having founded and advised several companies. Now, Jeppe is joining the Venture Partner Network to help us take one of our core themes, B2B SaaS, to the next level.

Role as Venture Partner

Jeppe will be a valuable asset to Dreamcraft as a Venture Partner. He will leverage his extensive network and industry knowledge to help us source and attract high-potential tech-driven deals across the Nordics and Europe, aligning with our focus on Pre-Seed to Series A rounds. Jeppe’s experience will also be valuable in identifying co-investment opportunities that complement our portfolio and strategic vision.

Expertise in Key Areas

Jeppe’s expertise spans a wide range of areas where company building, commercial execution, and organizational sensemaking, are in the center.

Guiding startups and scaleups: Jeppe brings extensive experience to guiding startups and scaleups. He uses his 1:1 sparring, workshops, and advisory board involvement to enable young companies to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Building businesses: He leverages his expertise in general management, strategy, design, commercial execution, and fundraising to bring companies to life and ensure their growth through strong partnerships, brand building, and healthy execution. He provides a well-rounded understanding of building and running a company; from the foundations of running a business to execution and growth.

Background and Experience

Jeppe has a strong record within the B2B SaaS space and can show a proven track record of success. He is a co-founder of Templafy, which has since raised €200 million from Insight Partners, Dawn Capital and Seed Capital, and Jeppe is currently serving on its board. He is the CEO and co-founder of Omnidocs, which recently secured a platform partnership and investment from Main Capital Partners to execute a proactive buy-and-build strategy.

Not only is Jeppe using his knowledge to move Omnidocs Group in the right direction, but he also spends time lifting founders and companies he believes in. Besides his work at Templafy and Omnidocs, he’s a board member at New Movements (chairman), Tembi (board member), Lift Relations (chairman), and our very own portfolio company, Playable (chairman). He is also a member of DanBAN, a Danish angel investor network, and has made 12 direct investments in companies such as a:gain, Reduced, Tembi, Estaid, and Climaider.

Jeppe also advises high-growth companies using his learnings from being part of several growth journeys going from 3 to 85 employees (bootstrapped) and from 3 to 320 employees (VC backed). He supports founders navigate the challenges of scaling a SaaS company, with a focus on optimizing the business model, leveraging data-driven decision-making, and identifying key metrics for success.

In a recent conversation, Jeppe highlighted his deep interest in the software industry, driven by the potential of technology to revolutionize work processes. He particularly recognizes how B2B SaaS companies can improve productivity in large organizations, ranging from company-wide to individual use cases.

Jeppe said that he is fascinated by the software industry because technology can really improve how businesses work. He said there is still a lot of room for improvement in big companies, and that is where good software comes in — it can make businesses and individual users more productive.

With Jeppe’s deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing B2B SaaS early-stage startups, we are strengthening the Venture Partner Network in a core space. We are looking forward to the partnership and creating value together with Jeppe.
