Meet Jordan Gnat. Jordan is an experienced executive in the sports media and gaming industries with a passion for sports fans. Now, he is ready to use his knowledge to make great VC investments. Jordan is entering the Venture Partner Network as a Limited Partner in Dreamcraft’s Fund II and has made angel investments in several gaming and sports companies.

Role as a Venture Partner

Jordan’s extensive experience across the sports media and gaming makes him a valuable asset to the Dreamcraft team. His proven ability to identify and build successful businesses within dynamic industries aligns perfectly with Dreamcraft’s focus on early-stage ventures.

With over 20 years of leadership roles in the gaming, sports, and media industries at Playmaker Capital, The Stars Group (FOX Bet), and Scientific Games, Jordan brings great knowledge in building and scaling digital media companies. He can also provide guidance on establishing strategic partnerships and navigating the regulatory landscape of the gaming industry.

Jordan’s experience as an operator and investor has given him a unique perspective on scaling organizations, identifying talent and spotting promising early-stage ventures. His role as a Venture Partner will involve leveraging his network and industry expertise to source promising investments, guiding portfolio companies through strategic growth phases, and providing valuable mentorship. Ultimately, he will use his experience to drive growth and innovation in the industry.

Background and Experience

Jordan has extensive leadership experience. He has previously served as the founder and CEO of Playmaker Capital, a digital sports media company focused on acquiring and integrating fan-centric media brands.

His vision for Playmaker was to create a unique ecosystem that connects sports fans across various channels with advertisers, operators, and sports leagues. In 2023, Better Collective acquired Playmaker Capital and Jordan is currently the Chair, Americas Advisory Board, at Better Collective.

Prior to Playmaker, Jordan held leadership positions at several prominent companies, and he has also served on the boards of Playmaker Capital, Lazydays RV, and the Hospital for Sick Children Foundation.
