The evening prior to the big game, crowds gathered at AT&T Park — ready to rock the night away! Metallica headlined a sold out show for CBS Radio and Salesforce’s The Night Before concert. In it’s third year, The Night Before is a spectacular live show where sports fans and music fans get together to revel and celebrate before a day of snacks and pigskin.

There’s no doubt that Metallica are heavy metal legends — and their live show was fitting to their legacy. Lasers, pyrotechnics, and fireworks lit up AT&T Park’s audience for two hours of complete music mayhem that only Metallica can deliver.

Incorporating our love of music into this year’s big game was an exciting way to be a part of the buzz in San Francisco. Leveraging the national spotlight as an opportunity to give back in a rocking way? Yeah, we did that too. We partnered with national nonprofit Little Kids Rock, which aims to provide music education in classrooms across the country. We can’t say enough about how impactful music education is. We were thrilled to have had a group of student rockers play a pre-party the night of the Metallica show. And yes, there were some fantastic Metallica covers on the setlist!

We were elated to have rocked out with the best of them! The Night Before concert was the perfect cherry on top to an epic weekend in San Francisco. Thanks to everyone who made cemented the evening as a rocking night to be remembered.
