Consider the following data points when The Show 19 Marketplaces opens. The marketplace will be volatile. Know your targeted players’ historical price points and demand peaks.

Here at S.M. Sports, we love speed. Victor Robles is being overshadowed by his teammate Juan Soto and that is okay. This spring, he is hitting .326, with six stolen bases. Per Fangraphs.com scouting report, Robles’ hit tool ceiling is 65. On a 20/80 scale, his speed tops at 70. Robles’ fielding and arm also are rated at 70.

On the MLB The Show Marketplace, Robles’ current Ask Price is 65. That’s nothing for a player who is making a strong case to start in CF and leadoff the Nationals lineup on some nights. His MLB The Show Player Ratings Bronze Card contact rating is 55, and power hovering 30. Looks for gains as the season progresses.

Last season, Robles’ card peaked at an Ask Price of 396 early in the year, without any production. This tells us his stock price should shift based on his prospective skill set in 2019. Just earning the starting job will give his card a boost early on.

Fangraphs lists his best outcome at .278 this season with 16 home runs and 24 stolen bases. If Robles’ starts to show as he has at each step of the minors, his card ratings will rocket up the ranks fast -potentially awarding him Silver Card status.

Keep an eye on Robles and watch for MLB The Show’s Friday Marketplace updates on weeks when his ratings should increase. This will help you capitalize on a promotion to Silver. Robles can contribute to your Diamond Dynasty team’s defense and add speed to your lineup.
