Dear Contributor,

To those contributors that follow our monthly Development Reports, you will likely notice that there are fewer points addressed in this update. There is no reason to be concerned as DreamTeam is working on something very big. Unfortunately, for the time being, we cannot publicly announce any details. What we can discuss is the addition of Apex Season 2 support, a simplified Recruitment process, the development of the DreamTeam Playground, and more. Join us as we take a look at what was done in July and what will be done in August.

Game Features

DreamTeam will soon support its fourth game, Fortnite. As DreamTeam adds additional games, we continue to update and launch new features for the existing games on our platform. By adding an additional game and updating and adding new game features, we can expect to see our user acquisition and retention numbers rise. Here is a quick overview of the game features that were added in July.

Apex Legends

July was an exciting month for DreamTeam and Apex Legends. With the drop of Season 2 on July 2nd, DreamTeam was faced with quite a few challenges. The biggest of those being, Apex Legends now has in-game stats and challenges. As a result, we, initially, saw a drop in the number of registrations. In order to return to the number of pre-season 2 registrations, we updated DreamTeam Apex with the following things:

Season 2 Stats

Not only can Apex Players see most of the stats that are available in-game, but Players can also see Season 2 stats for any individual legend, including the new Legend Wattson. By continuing to provide stats that aren’t available in-game, DreamTeam was able to not only maintain its number of users but continue to add new users as well.

Wattson

DreamTeam Apex now supports the new Legend Wattson. And, with our Legend Stats, users can see exactly how often Players are using the new Legend, her win rate, the average damage per match, and much more.

New Apex Profiles

The Apex Profiles have been redesigned. We now highlight the following three important Player statistics on every Player Profile:

  • The Player’s Apex rank
  • The Player’s Apex level
  • The Player’s DreamTeam rank

With the new design, we were able to increase registration conversions by 10%.

DreamTeam Apex Prime

The new Apex Prime packages are currently in development. We cannot discuss many of the details at this time. However, we can say that we’ve been testing the Apex Challenges in-house and can say that our employees have had a great time testing them. We are sure that the DreamTeam Apex Challenges are going to be a hit and will help with our acquisition and retention.

CS:GO

The Game Features team is working with the Platform Features team to continue simplifying the staffing flow. They are currently running a few A/B tests connected to the chat and recruitment features. As we do not currently have those results, we will discuss the new flows in the next report. Until then, let’s take a quick look at the newest DreamTeam feature, The DreamTeam Playground.

DreamTeam Playground

Playing with rifles, pistols, or snipers isn’t what you’d find on any typical Playground. That being said, the DreamTeam Playground isn’t just any typical Playground. The DreamTeam Playground contains a series of packs that test existing skills and teach new tactics. Users simply click on a pack, choose a challenge, complete it, and DreamTeam will automatically give the user a pass/fail score. If they pass, they move on. If they fail, they have to try again. Using the skill packs in conjunction with the Training Center helps users improve their skills faster than ever before.

Fortnite

Fortnite development is underway! If you follow DreamTeam Apex, you have a pretty good idea about what some of the DreamTeama Fortnite features are. We will be sure to include more details, with screenshots, in the next report.

In August, the Game Features team will:

  • Release DreamTeam Apex Challenges
  • Continue working on DreamTeam Fortnite
  • Release the updated staffing flow

Platform Features

The Platform Features Team has been busy tweaking the Recruitment Process for CS:GO and LoL. As mentioned above, there are several A/B tests currently running and we do not yet know the results. We will include the findings in our next report.

In August, the Platform Features team will:

  • Change the chat logic through the Recruitment Process for CS:GO and Lo
  • Experiment with Monthly/Daily Recruitment Limitations for CS:GO and LoL
  • Change Booster logic for Premium users in CS:GO and LoL

In July, the Game Analytics Team has been working hard on the new DreamTeam Fortnite scope: LFG, Profiles, Leaderboards, News, etc. In addition, the team soft-launched the PAD Grenades for Poland and the US in June, a full launch is expected in the coming months. The Player Analytics Dashboard is a module that will pull, store, and organize Player statistics from the DreamTeam Analytics Tool. Blockchain and Payments

In July the Blockchain and Payments Team continued to work on implementing the DREAM Token into the DreamTeam Platform. Our key focus was on testing the DreamTeam questline and rewards. As mentioned in the last report, the Questline is a simplified version for the DreamTeam Journey. It helps users become acclimated to the platform by having users complete small tasks. Upon completing each task, the user is rewarded with a number of DREAM Tokens. Our team also worked on preparing to release the Shepherd tooltip library.

In August the Blockchain and Payments team is going to:

  • Continue DREAM token implementation
  • Assist the Game Analytics team with Fortnite development
