The November DreamTeam Report

Traction

In terms of the number of users, DreamTeam has already reached 1.1 million users. That is 1,099,999 more than when we first started. And that is a lot. A majority of our users mainly come from North America, Europe, CIS and South America. This is important when it comes to Premium conversion rates. So what have we been working on since last time you read our report?

Product Development

Well, in the last report, we wrote to you about our Practice Games feature and are happy to announce that Practice Games 2.0 is nearing release. Practice Games 2.0 gives CS:GO Players and Teams the ability to play games on DreamTeam servers for free as well as adds 4v4, 3v3, and 2v2 game formats.

As important as Practice Games 2.0 is, our key achievement in November was the release of the Premium Player and Premium Team subscriptions feature and the start of monetization of the platform by using DreamTeam Tokens. With the adding of the premium feature Players and Team Owners now have unlimited access to tools as well as additional Player and Team statistics to help them find or build a Team easier and faster. And soon the DreamTeam Tokens will be used on the backend in every single transaction.

We continue to work on our Analytics Tool, Coaching Tool, and Chat 2.0 features, which will add value to the current product offering and boost retention and Premium conversions.

Blockchain Development

Moving on to blockchain. Yes, the thing that most people only associate with cryptocurrency yet is much more.

One of the main goals in November was to develop recurring billing for DreamTeam Tokens. This includes the smart contract development and secure back-end development to automate all things.

Recurring billing on blockchain is more than simply charging someone over and over like PayPal or other payment providers. We make use of Ethereum smart contracts to create a transparent, secure, and automated system that charges customers according to what has been agreed upon.

For now, users of DreamTeam.gg are able to buy premium subscriptions on a 1 month, 3 month, or yearly basis, automatically, in DreamTeam Tokens. There is no way for merchants (in this case, DreamTeam) to charge more than it was stated at the moment of the financial agreement, eliminating the possibility of overcharging customers. That doesn’t seem important until you are a customer that has been overcharged. So it is a huge step forward.

The release of recurring billing is planned for the end of December. We will be sure to inform all of the contributors with a separate announcement.

Events

Building a successful startup is more than sitting behind a computer typing code all day. However, don’t tell that to our developers. ;) In order to build brand awareness, DreamTeam must be active and participate in events in the esports and blockchain communities. So,

in addition to our business partnerships with industrial events and tournaments on the international market, we have also been building our brand on the Ukrainian market.

In September, we partnered with the biggest Ukrainian Competition for Developers, Dev Challenge. During September-November, we supported the organizers and provided our professional expertise.

In November, The final of the competition was held and as a partner, DreamTeam:

• Provided prizes for finalists
• Held game zone activity for all participants
• A DreamTeam Representative took part as a speaker of the training program

This cooperation got us closer to our key audience — from the potential candidates, we received 10+ CVs for our current job openings. The announcement about our partnership was published on main IT platforms (ain.ua, dou.ua).

Business Development

In the past month we have been busy building relationships with other leading companies in order to expand our reach. Of course we can’t tell you everything we have planned at this time, however, we can share a couple of bits of information with you.

Integration with FACEIT

A special survey and research of current Dreamteam users was conducted in order to determine how many existing users on the platform also have a FACEIT game account.

Approximately, more than 60% of current CS:GO players on DreamTeam also have a FACEIT account. So for these users, we can provide additional value by integrating our two systems.

R&D department has started the preparation for the first stage of the integration. This stage is planned for December 2018 — January 2019 and will contain the following activities and features on DreamTeam’s side:

• The ability for CS:GO players to connect FACEIT accounts to DreamTeam. It allows existing players to display and share FACEIT skill levels on their profiles, thereby solidifying their level on DreamTeam. So the players will be more confident in the accuracy of the skills levels while looking for new team members. In the future, we assume that this skill level will be supplemented with additional expanded statistics by FACEIT matchmaking.
• Simplify the registration flow on DreamTeam with the help of FACEIT authorization. Using this, we can abandon about 8 steps of our registration process, making it easier for more users to create a player profile on DreamTeam.

Partnership with Gameye

We are now preparing to sign a contract with Gameye and release the Practice Games feature with our own servers. Gameye is a young company with a head office in Rotterdam, which provides servers for esports matches. And it’s a great opportunity for DreamTeam Practice Games, which allows the CS:GO players to play and practice without leaving the DreamTeam platform.

In the first stage of our partnership with Gameye, we will provide servers for all CS:GO players on DreamTeam who normally looked for a server for practicing on other third-party resources. By doing this, we encourage players to come back to our platform and develop their skills with us.

Exchanges

This is the section that is most important to many of you. And we have some good news about dates. However, our CEO has announced that, due to certain restrictions and obligations, we cannot announce the exact exchange until the time of listing in February. Right now we are going through KYC / AML procedures. This process will take some time. For that reason, the date of the exchange announcement and token listing will take place in February.

OTC

Also, we have an option for those investors who do not want to wait for the listing, we now have an appointed OTC Broker which is able to buy the Tokens before listing.

To submit your request for selling DreamTeam Tokens please follow the instruction below:

· Fill out this Google form (indicate the email you used when you contributed)

· Indicate the number of Tokens you want to sell

· Indicate the price in ETH and BTC you are willing to accept per token

The deadline for submitting the form is January 15th, 2019. If your price matches what the OTC broker is willing to pay, the OTC broker will purchase your tokens.

PR & Media

Extra! Extra! Read…yeah yeah. You know. Here’s what the PR and Media departments have been up to.

In November, our communication was mostly focused on pitching our own articles to the esports and business media to get more mentions in the press. In numbers, 3 pitches were sent to 20+ outlets using the OnePitch platform, which helps us to reach Top Tier media outlets. In addition to this, our PR team has been working on directly pitching our articles to journalists.

6 pitches were sent directly to the journalists from our Press database and to the following media outlets: Forbes, Hackernoon, Street & Smith’s Sports Business Journal, Small Business Trends, Sports Business Daily, The Drum.

We’ve gotten our articles published on Oracle Times and Hackernoon as well as being mentioned in some industry publications like blockexplorer.com, coinmarkets.net, bitcoinchaser.net, etc. More information about DreamTeam publications can be found in our DreamTeam Digest and on our social media channels.

We have also started to work on creating monthly updates for ICO contributors to keep them up-to-date on DreamTeam news. Hince, this letter.

We have also hired all remaining team members for our media team, covered Premium launch and our Black Friday sale, and created our YouTube strategy. In addition, we have, as always, kept creating content: 23 articles and more than 50 pieces of unique content.

Also, we launched our separate League of Legends Facebook page to give our users access to awesome and relevant content.

Customer Support

With 1.1 million users, our support team takes very few breaks.

Continuing our Customers Satisfaction survey about the quality of provided support, our current satisfaction rate is 95%, a 5% increase from October. From 299 surveys sent to those who had an issue, we received a 14% response rate with the following results:

The support team also maintained a solid first-response time. Most of our customers receive answers within 5–15 minutes.

In mid-November, the Premium feature was released to production and the Support and Dev team started resolving payment issues users faced.

HR

Moving on to HR. For those who don’t know, HR stands “human resources” And our resources are starting to add up. ;)

Our November updated hiring plan to reach 106 employees was 91% successful with 96 now on board. The Engineering team currently has 53 members with the goal having been 58 members by the end of November; a 91% success rate.
