There are hundreds of landing page generator services out there — Unbounce, Launchrock, KickoffLabs and Instapage are only some examples. But what can you expect from these services? Or is it better to create your own landing page with WordPress or even a static HTML site?

I have tried a few of these services during the last years. Let me share my experiences with you…

UPDATE 2020:
I have still been struggling with landing page builders. Most of my applications have custom built websites, because it was quicker and easier. Until now! Because I finally found a decent solution (especially for SaaS businesses) in Versoly. This tool skips all the bloated e-commerce stuff, offers only a handful of very sleek templates and focuses laser-sharp on great landing pages for SaaS. What finally sold me (apart from the great price) was the very responsive and helpful customer support. I can’t believe I’m finally in love with a landing page builder 😂. If you’re running a SaaS or wanting to test MVPs, definitely check out Versoly!
