DREP April Progress Report
Dear DREP community,
DREP team has been relentlessly working on technology development and enterprise adoption in April. Following is what we have accomplished: for DREP Chain Testnet 3.0 Euler, address alias and trust node function were added, transaction signature verification process was optimized, so that the TPS on main chain has been greatly improved; for DREP Client, version 1.0 (including DREP Wallet) was launched.
In terms of marketing, DREP core team and our Gaming Ecosystem Advisor Daniel Wang, the COO at Riot China, known as the birthplace of League of Legends, was invited to South Korean game companies and blockchain communities. For the community building, the DREP team held a Meetup at Dubai Future Accelerators, and Dr. Marwan Alzarouni, the CEO of Dubai’s Blockchain Center, delivered a keynote speech.
| DREP Chain Testnet 3.0 Euler adds address alias function which facilitates user identification and record. Besides, alias and address are mapping, making alias update and delete available. User’s various operations based on address can be implemented by alias.
| Optimized functions on DREP Chain:
- Trust nodes were added to the P2P module. Under the PBFT consensus mechanism, all outbound nodes are able to join main chain in the form of trust nodes, in which they enjoy the privilege of constructing P2P networks in advance, making the network fast and stable.
- Optimize query for historical data such as transactions and data blocks. And introduce mongoDB to achieve distributed high-concurrency data read and write in nodes.
- Optimize the transaction signature verification process to greatly increase TPS in the main chain.
| Improve the storage, query and modification of Ethereum’s Smart Contract transaction execution record and receipt, and provide JS portal to support these functions.
|DREP core team and COO at Riot China interviewed in South Korea, garnering great interests.
|DREP partnered with Dubai Blockchain Center and local crypto media Encrypted, held an open event at Dubai Future Accelerators.
DREP Public Chain
- Enrich go language with the Client function, and currently add parts of interface calls.
- Optimize the p2p function.
- Add alias to the DREP public chain address so that alias and address are mapping, making alias update and delete available.
- Improve the storage, query and modification of Ethereum’s Smart Contract transaction execution record and receipt, and provide JS portal to support these functions.
- Add history query components, which support storage mode in LevelDB and Mongo, facilitating record query and extension.
- Optimize transaction processing related codes, greatly improving TPS.
- Gain access to sending requests to Bitcoin and acquiring its dynamic gas fee.
- Develop the ScheduleService module of the Connector.
- Resolve the framework conflicts and fix bugs in the Spring Boot project.

Recently, following the onboarding of Daniel Wang, the COO at Riot China, known as the birthplace of League of Legends, as DREP Gaming Ecosystem Advisor, the DREP core team has been invited to many mainstream media interviews in South Korea. With DREP listing happening lately, major South Korean exchanges and blockchain communities start to engage with DREP for cooperation.
Daniel Wang is the chief architect of DREP gaming strategy. During these interviews, Daniel reiterated that South Korea would be the pilot zone of leading games + blockchain, and also an important market for DREP overseas expansion. That is why this week, Daniel and DREP two co-founders received coverage by mainstream media with the likes of Asia Economic TV, TVCC and several Korean blockchain KOLs regarding DREP gaming strategy in South Korea and DREP Game SDK usage scenarios.
Several South Korean blockchain KOLs have also interviewed DREP core team. The well-known blockchain KOL BitBoy conducted an interview with two DREP co-founders on April 23. BitBoy firstly recognized DREP’s popularity in South Korea as more people are now paying attention to DREP, especially since last year DREP has ranked high in the overseas Influencer rating, exemplified by the fact that DREP has proactively expanded overseas to cooperate with more than 50 financial, internet and real estate companies, among which two have achieved technical landing.
3. DREP Roadshow in Dubai Successfully Wrapped up
On April 4, DREP partnered with Dubai Blockchain Center and local crypto media Encrypted, held an open event at Dubai Future Accelerators with Dr. Marwan Alzarouni, the crypto pioneer in the Middle East region and the CEO of Dubai’s Blockchain Center as the host and guest speaker.
DREP co-founder and CTO Xu Xiaolong, a veteran in the blockchain industry, delivered a keynote speech to illustrate how DREP gaming SDK solutions could achieve a huge user increase and how the DREP SDK could better help traditional games evolve into the world of blockchain.
Dr. Marwan Alzarouni kicked off the event by stating that from the annual participation data of FBS, it could be seen that Asian blockchain companies are increasingly interested in the Middle East market and that the current Middle East region, especially the Smart Dubai initiatives, have demonstrated positive attitude towards the development of the blockchain technology.
Even during the working day, the enthusiasm for participation in the Middle East remained undiminished. Not only a large number of Dubai blockchain enthusiasts and project followers came, but also local government officials from the Middle East came here to learn and mingle.

ABOUT DREP Foundation
DREP Foundation is devoted to building a performance-oriented technology infrastructure supporting high transaction capacity for an ecosystem generating valuable reputation data. Focusing on two industry pain points: lack of user adoption and low transaction throughput, DREP Foundation aims to provide highly scalable, modular blockchain architecture for deployment of a reputation protocol that any types of platforms can use.
DREP envisions a global plan to empower a wide array of platforms to have tokenized reputation ecosystem deployed on top of DREP Chain, which is secure, scalable and reputation data supportive.
