DREP Bi-Weekly Report 4.16–4.30 | Significant updates from DREP developer community, optimized process of block synchronization and the construction of blockchain info-sharing platforms

In the second half of April, DREP paid close attention to both the optimization in technical solutions and the progress on the ecosystem of cryptocurrency.
On technology, the public chain has been under continuous tests and optimization, including the optimization of block chain synchronization process, which managed to keep the blocks in line according to the communication time with each node and choose the shortest one for block synchronization; we also solved the abrupt suspension of the synchronization which caused state tree’s recovery failure. The speed and stability of cross-chain transactions in DREP mobile client have been enhanced; the setting of wallet transfer fee has been oriented to improve cost effectiveness.
On ecosystem, significant news will be revealed in the DREP developer community to monitor the latest progress of the project. The technical standard docking from DREP payment SDK will come along when DC/EP admits third-party Apps. DREP payment will be a fine supplement to the DC/EP payment by then. DREP provides block chain technology and product services, and permits the construction of block chain info-sharing platforms. The DREP team is committed to building the next high-performance public chain, supporting transaction payment and more pass-through functions.

- Solved the problem of transaction getting stuck in the pool for long periods of time.
- Solved the abrupt suspension of the synchronization which caused state tree’s recovery failure.

Significant updates in DREP developer community
To make more technical developers understand DREP project and participate in DREP community construction and technology development, DREP updated public chain document and added the latest instruction of technical products. Updates including: DBFT, Smart Pipeline, DREP Smart Channel, Zero-Knowledge Proof, DREP Client, DID, DREP BaaS, etc.This update aims to synchronize the latest project progress with community members, as well as communicate with more potential developers to explore the latest blockchain technology development. It can accelerate the development of DREP product technology through communication and contribution, comprehensively show the strength and advantages of DREP project.
DREP Payment SDK Will Integrate Chinese Central Bank’s Digital Currency DC/EP as One of The Payment Currencies
DREP co-founder Xiaolong Xu states: The purpose of DREP payment SDK is to make payment easier and faster. The value of CBDC is stable and its denomination is small. Compared with common digital currencies such as Bitcoin and ETH, DC/EP is suitable for small-value and high-frequency transactions, complementing digital currency payment. If DC/EP is open to third-party wallet apps, DREP will conduct the technical docking with DC/EP as soon as possible. Based on the digital currency payment, DREP wallet will add the function of DC/EP payment.
