DREP Biweekly Updates 11.26–12.09

DREP blockchain browser web-end interface has been completed, and is now successfully coordinated with the back-end test data API. The blockchain browser is being deployed for launching online with complete functionality. UI enhancements are in progress.
The two-week “reputation mining” campaign has come to a successful end, with participants from more than 20 countries and regions. Thanks to the enthusiastic participation of the community, DREP team was pleasantly surprised to see massive increase of traffic as well as receive creative stickers, DREP icons, videos and texts.
Momo and Xiaolong were invited to visit BlockchainCTR’s Shanghai branch, the world’s first non-profit blockchain and community entrepreneurship center. We look forward to working together to build a blockchain community in Shanghai.
DREP’s invited interview with Korea HKBNews has been released and the scripts are out! In this interview, co-founder Momo mentioned DREP’s active positioning in emerging markets such as Australia and the Middle East, as well as the current delivery of technology services with partner companies.

Development Progress

With the tireless efforts of the DREP development team, the test net is nearly complete. What our development team did in two weeks has set a new record:

The main branch sent 141 modifications
There were 89 merger requests and 29 mergers completed
71 internal versions were generated and deployed

Development Progress:

As mentioned last time, the DREP chain will be equipped with a fully designed cross-chain function. To improve the usabilitiy of cross-chain transactions, the development team optimized the code that packages and performs cross-chain transactions to make it more stable and efficient.
Improved the relevant operations of the database, and further enhanced database stability and on-chain data security.
In order to facilitate the use of future users, the rule definition and code call of configuration file are optimized and improved.
After the completion of the relevant configuration, the testing of various functions of the test net (such as trading, mining, cross-chain, etc.) was conducted to solve coordination issues.
In the internal testing, fee-related values were adjusted so that the blockchain trading, mining and other behavior have become more reasonable.
Optimized the overall codes.

Front End Progress:

DREP blockchain browser web-end interface has been completed, and successfully coordinated with the back-end test data API.
The blockchain browser is being deployed for launching online with complete functionality. UI enhancements will be made when the design is complete.
In the browser, users can not only view the full transaction records, but also can make transaction inquiries in different chain categories.

DREP was invited to HKBnews for exclusive interview

During the October visit to Korea, DREP’S co-founder Momo and CMO Belinda were invited to the studio of renowned Korean real-estate owned media HKBnews after the Huobi ECO Meetup and portfolio closed-door meeting.

As the hotbed of Blockchain, Korea has always been an important market for DREP. In this interview, co-founder Momo mentioned DREP’s active positioning in emerging markets such as Australia and the Middle East, as well as the current delivery of technology services with partner companies. Currently in the Australian market, there is already a tier 1 Internet platform that has granted use scenarios for DREP tokens.

Belinda also stated that DREP is focusing on helping traditional company with blockchain transition to achieve high traffic and a high user base, bringing seamless blockchain technology into people’s daily lives. At the same time, DREP as a technical service provider is also actively expanding the Korean market.

DREP were invited to visit BlockchainCTR’s Shanghai branch

During Momo and Xiaolong’s invited visit to BlockchainCTR’s Shanghai, the branch director gave Momo and Xiaolong a tour of the facilities inside, as well as the currently held annual charity special exhibition called “Shine On”. After the visit, Momo and Xiaolong also shared their industry insights as well as DREP’s strategy. As a member of the Blockchain start-up community, we look forward to bringing blockchain knowledge to the bigger masses in Shanghai, and providing a positive environment for the development of the entire industry.

The China headquarter of Blockchain Technology Center were established in Shanghai in September 2018. Since its inception, it has been dedicated to education, exhibitions, project incubation and offline activities.

Kevin, Founding Partner of BlockVC, visited DREP to explore latest industry trends

On December 7th, Kevin, the co-founder of BlockVC, visited DREP’s office and conducted an in-depth exchange with DREP co-founder Xiaolong on future cooperation and industry developments. As Kevin pointed out at the GMIC Digital Economy Summit, while blockchains are great for changing production relationships, they’re not applicable for every field. At present, blockchain is not doing enough in the field of privacy protection, and still needs further improvement. DREP as a marathon runner in the realm of data privacy, will continue to work on data security and user privacy in reputation data transactions.

DREP’s First Reputation Mining Ended Successfully with Participants from 20+ Countries

The two-week “reputation mining” campaign has come to a successful end, and we’d like to thank our community partners for their enthusiastic participation. Thanks to the community participation, DREP’s reputation mechanism has yet again been further understood, bringing a wide promotion to our community. We can even say that this is the most direct and effective community influencer campaign since the inception of DREP. What’s more, DREP team was pleasantly surprised to receive creative stickers, DREP icons, videos and texts. DREP Reputation Mining was the first Web-based APP that has aggregated reputation quantification, monetization, and user reputation growth mechanisms, providing DREP communities with a platform for economic incentives.

In the first phase of DREP internal testing, 50 spots were released. Barely within 30 minutes after the registration link opened, the first batch of applications were fully booked. In addition to the DREP community members, more than 30% of the partcipants were new faces attracted by reputation mining. In the course of completing their mining tasks, the miners have also experienced DREP’s reputation mechanism design and deepened their understanding of DREP, while receiving great community benefits.
