October is a vital month for the development of DREP core technology products.
In technology, DREP public chain realized the basic function of Staking, DPOS + BFT dynamic replacement of BFT Block generation node; Separated the private keys of block generation node revenue and block generation signature, improved the security of block generation node property. DREP mobile client 1.2.0 officially launched, in addition to optimize the performance, it added DREP TESTNET Coin collection function and two more language versions: English and Korea; DREP self-developed miner Parkour game <DREP MINING> also released English and Korean versions synchronously to support overseas users; A cross-chain token swap tool – DREP Bridge officially launched; The one-way swap function in DREP official website was optimized to two-way swap between DREP ERC20 and DREP BEP2.
In ecosystem, after the listing in Bithumb Global, an innovative exchange launched by Korean biggest digital asset exchange Bithumb, DREP focused more on Korean market in October. DREP co-founder Xiaolong shared DREP latest updates and plans with BG Korean community members in Bithumb Global Korean official live broadcast room. Xiaolong was invited by Oasis, a well-known Korean exchange, to have an AMA in its official community. Meanwhile, <DREP MINING> big reward for advice officially launched to enhance user experience. Xiaolong was invited to speak in “Amazon AWS – how to empower blockchain industry for a fast development” conference, discuss the new era of blockchain application over the cloud. Technology Development
This month, DREP R&D team realized many functions based on public chain including the basic function of Staking, DPOS + BFT dynamic replacement of BFT Block generation node, separated the private keys of block generation node revenue and block generation signature. Meanwhile, DREP made a great progress in DREP mobile client, <DREP MINING> game, official website. DREP 1.2.0 officially launched, added DREP TESTNET Coin collection function and two more language versions: English and Korea, optimized wallet management page; <DREP MINING> added language versions synchronously and more optimizations in game performance, user experience, economic model.

2. Realized DPOS + BFT dynamic replacement of BFT Block generation node
BFT is billed by several fixed nodes, so if a fixed node has a problem or deliberately fails to perform its duties, the network will be unavailable. With the implementation of DPOS, the selected block generation nodes enriched the competitive mechanism and better realized the decentralization function.
3. Separated the private keys of block generation node revenue and block generation signature. Improved the security of block generation node property.
DREP Mobile Client Product Line Development
- Continuous optimization and update of DREP mobile client versions
DREP mobile client has been updated to V1.2.0. Compared with V1.0.0, it enriched the function and optimized the experience.

- Supported two more languages: English and Korean, user-friendly language versions
- Added DREP TESTNET collection function to get and experience DREP TESTNET for free
- Revised [wallet management] page to manage user’s wallet more effectively
- Optimized client BUG, performance, enhanced data loading speed, shortened waiting time
2. Development and optimization of blockchain game
Developed first miner parkour game <DREP MINING> based on DREP mobile client, it has:
- A perfect incentive model, play game and gain profits
- DREP TOKEN consumption scenarios, optimized TOKEN value model by reducing the circulation through a short-cycle lock-up
- In-built functional interface in DREP client to attract more traffic cooperation
- In-built blockchain multi-currency payment SDK, allowing a direct docking with centralized game and centralized application, lowering traditional enterprises’ docking threshold in blockchain, enriching payment methods
<DREP MINING> was also updated synchronously. Current updates:
- Released English and Korean versions of DREP MINING
- Optimized game BUG and performance, increased speed, reduced user waiting time
- Increased the difficulty of game, optimized TOKEN value model. According to data measurement, users are able to get 3 times more revenue in DREP MINING game.
3. Enhancement of swap function in DREP official website
The one-way swap function in DREP official website was optimized to two-way swap between DREP ERC20 and DREP BEP2.
