Panerai Radiomir 1940 Chronograph Platino by horasyminutos.com

A chronograph like this Panerai that brings together a fascinating combination of design, technology and history, now can also be a piece for all the ordinary mortals thanks to the Parnis guys. They have made a “Homage” to this —so exclusive— timepiece inspired by the fourth decade of the twentieth century.

With only 50 pieces in its Platinum version and a price beyond the reach of most of us, it is undoubtedly a very exclusive watch.

As we mentioned, the Chinese watch brand Parnis develops these “tributes” of highly valued watches.

I will not go into assessments on the legitimacy of these tributes. It is very clear that they do not compete with the original watches.

With a difference of 1mm in diameter — the Parnis measures 44mm and the Panerai 45mm — it has the simple and elegant lines developed by Panerai around 1940 during World War II.

Parnis Chronograph, Homage of the mythical Panerai. You can buy it here.
