Member-only story
the prologue
wasting time
no. 10
It’s good to waste some time
Faces of the paper pumpkins falling off
Amid a soft drizzle
And a day of wandering
Friendly faces in the ceramics shop
Autumn lights and
Drifting clouds of gray
Fill this city of my youth
Snapping photos for you
You occupy my galaxy
No vacancy lights flashing as
Long gone stars
And I want to show you the city that’s
Occupied my steps
Before you know it yourself
A new appreciation for
These Tokyo nights
Blinking lights of Nakano my
Hood that I have come to know
But do I really know it;
I slow down, smiling, as summer
Turns to fall
We got the world before us
Coasting on the waning moon
It won’t be long love
Before I see the city
Next to you
