Green Point is situated between V&A and Signal Hill and is a lively part of Cape Town. Green Point is also a perfect location to access the popular Cape Town beaches of Clifton, Camps Bay and Sea Point.

However Green Point is also close to the city centre — including Long Street, Company Gardens and a number of museums and galleries. If you’re planning on visiting the Green Point area hire a car in Cape Town which will help immensely with getting you from A to B.

Visit the Green Point Urban Park

The park has wide paved paths that allow both pedestrians and children on bikes to navigate safely around each other — there also little islands with shady trees and a variety of structures to rest on or have a picnic. Dogs are allowed, but they must be leashed at all time. Overall the park has the potential to become a new favourite among local and visiting families.
