November is here and we are so thrilled to celebrate the coming of autumn! The OneBookShelf Staff picked some of their favorite autumn themed games or games that give that cozy feeling!

If you’re looking to fall into some cozy autumn goodness at your D&D table, check out Book of Seasons: Equinoxes, a community collaboration packed with new monsters, NPCs, magical items, and encounters galore for levels 1 through 20. Visit a harvest festival or face a dire squirrel!

Simply, just a beautiful poker deck.

Serving the Squash is an Electrum best seller from Florian Emmerich and Alex Clippinger, a Dungeons and Dragons style fable about a mayor whose intentions are good but summons a golem of gourds to provide a better harvest not realizing that the Gourdkin has its own ideas for the harvest. A fun one-shot adventure for first level characters that can be used to start a campaign or for an evening of pumpkin smashing fun!

Honorable mention: Dragons of Autumn (3.5e) was published in 2006 and is the beginning of the epic War of the Lance saga and takes place as Autumn falls on Abanasinia and players are tasked with helping hundreds of refugees displaced by the return of mythical dragons! A great starting point for players wanting to discover one of the greatest Dungeons & Dragons settings of all time, Dragonlance! On sale until Nov. 16th as part of Fizban’s Dragontacular Sale!

Every now and then, your D&D game is sure to delve not into another dungeon, but into a festival, a county fair, or some such public celebration. And what better way is there to celebrate the harvest time!?

“Festivals, Feasts, and Fairs” is a fine folio for any DM whose fantasy setting features fêtes or other festivities. You’ll read about formulating your own festivities, with various types of attractions and entertainments, and find out about fortune-tellers and vendors who might frequent the fair. The supplement also includes items of interest for players, including a couple of new backgrounds (Carnie and Mummer) and some new items relevant to the topic, such as the portable circus tent and the tightrope of balance. If you are planning a sojourn to any fair or festival for your players, this book will help guide your way.

ENNie Award Winning, Alice is Missing, is something that brings forth those autumn vibes especially with the soundtrack. While this five player game (including facilitator) can get a bit dark very quickly, it will leave a lasting impression that you will be thinking about for several days. Work together in this immersive 90 minute game to find Alice and unravel the mystery around her disappearance and your own interactions with one another.
The game can be played in person, but does have digital tools available as well on the Hunters Entertainment website.
