Have a car but don’t want to drive?

This venture can definitely be your saviour!

India’s largest on-demand driver service for consumers and businesses now plans to expand its operations across the nation. Over the past year, DriveU has incrementally improved its margins at the same time managing to increase driver earnings.

With a funding of $3 million led by Dr. Amit Singhal (founder of the Singhal Foundation), we have strengthened our position to serve both consumers and businesses across the six largest metro cities — Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi NCR, Pune and Hyderabad — and beyond.

“Their business is growing at a strong pace, while maintaining positive unit economics, which is key to building a successful company. Impressed by their execution, I have personally decided to lead a round of investment and help them scale,” remarked Dr. Amit Singhal. Prior to heading the Singhal Foundation, he was the Senior Vice President for Search at Google, Inc.

Unitus Seed Fund, being DriveU’s first VC investor, is a huge supporter of our app-based driver solution for India’s ever-increasing number of private car owners.

DriveU’s full-time drivers take home up to 40 thousand rupees each month to provide for their families

Only this? Absolutely not!

As compared to cab drivers, we eliminate the burden of EMI payments, fuel bills and vehicle maintenance for our drivers. The cross utilisation of drivers between our B2B and B2C lines of businesses optimise the operations and guarantees higher earnings for our drivers.

“DriveU, having grown at 16% month-over-month since inception
has recently witnessed accelerated growth. We plan to expand to another four to six cities while also growing vertically in these cities and investing in technological innovations,” said our CEO & Co-Founder Rahm Shastry.

Having more than 6,000 drivers aboard, we plan to increase the number to more than 10,000 drivers by the end of 2018.

Besides integrating the services across multiple technology platforms including Zoomcar, Quikr, Myles, Cars24 and many more, we support worthy animal welfare causes too!

From the by-lanes of Bengaluru to the erratic Indian streets, DriveU is pretty engaged in reinventing the driver’s wheel.
