Picture this — you wake up and look at the clock, It’s 9AM. Guilt and anxiety take over. You’re already running late, goodbye breakfast! With a half-eaten snack, you are now strutting down the roadside to catch an auto or hail a cab. Anxiously glancing at your watch after every few minutes, trying to gauge the best route to get to work. Sounds familiar?

A few years ago, who would’ve thought we would have the power to book a taxi from our mobile?

Our options for daily transport have changed drastically for good! Taxi-aggregators have changed the way we commute. Love them or hate them, their ubiquity is undeniable.

But amidst this ease and convenience, are we losing sight of the costs? 🙈

Just when you started fuming over the hiked fares, DriveU darted in to change how you move across the city! We’ll drop you ANYWHERE in your city — to the office, school, parent’s house, JUST PAY ₹159 FLAT!

Enough about ‘one-way fares’, if you’re coming back home(i.e. you’re taking a return trip)> DriveU’s offering is unmatched-

“When fares and traffic get worse who do you turn to?”

Well, this is what Mr. Subrato Sharma, CFO of a high growth start-up in Bengaluru had to say,

“Many a times — especially over the weekend, I end up doing a lot of errands. I have used cabs. It’s a pain to keep booking a new ride at every stop.

I usually visit my family, get the laundry done and buy knick-knacks on my way. They live about 16 km from my home in JP Nagar in HRBR layout. This Sunday, I first tried Ola and each way fare was₹445.

Then I tried Uber, which charged me ₹384 either way. I chose to get a DriveU driver as I wanted to wind up a lot of things. A 4-hour package with DriveU costs me just₹359. After carefully calculating the fuel price, it came to about ₹150.

Using my own car with a DriveU driver was not only the most economical option, but I had the advantage of stopping by at the market and laundry . Also, listening to my favourite music on my iPod . More importantly, I didn’t have to worry about getting a cab for my return trip or the hassle of waiting for it”

Here’s what he actually meant —

Shrieking inside? Good. Now, spread the word!

Car-owners, you got 99 problems but a driver ain’t one.🤵🏻
