This is a translated version of this article.

This is Keima of the DroidKaigi staff.

DroidKaigi 2019 will be held at the Bellesalle Shinjuku Grand Tower, however nearby there is also another building called Bellesalle Shinjuku 🙀

The actual building we are going to is here:

To avoid getting lost in the concrete jungle that is Tokyo, just follow these steps!

Step 1: Find your way to “Nishi-shinjuku Station (M07)”

The closest station to Bellesalle Shinjuku Grand Tower is Nishi-shinjuku Station (M07), on the Tokyo Metro Marunoichi line. If you put Nishi-shinjuku Station into Google maps, you should get the following:

Step 2: Find your way from Nishi-shinjuku Station to Bellesalle Shinjuku Grand Tower

Now we get into the big league. The following set of photos should show you the way to Bellesalle Shinjuku Grand Tower

① First, head for Exit 1
② On the way to Exit 1, you should see a Tully’s Coffee shop
③ Go left at the coffee shop, and take the escalator/stairs above ground
④ After arriving above ground, keep walking the direction you are facing
⑤ Keep goin’ straight!
⑥ You should see a FamilyMart store, that means you’re on the right track
⑦ If you can see this, you made it! Sumitomo Fudosan Shinjuku Grand Tower

Step 3–1: 1F Event Hall

(Directions to the 5F Conference Center are available after this section)

Registration for DroidKaigi 2019 on Day 1 (7th Feb) will happen at the 1F Event Hall Lobby. So, on Day 1 your first port of call should be the 1F Event Hall Lobby.

Note: There will be no registration at the 5F Conference Center on Day 1.

You can enter the 1F Event Hall by taking a right just in front (next to) the Sumitomo Fudosan Shinjuku Grand Tower building.

Step 3–2: 5F Conference Center

Registration for DroidKaigi 2019 on Day 2 (8th Feb) will happen at the 5F Conference Center Lobby. Those attending DroidKaigi from Day 2 only should make their way to the 5F for registration.

Note: There will be no registration at the 1F Event Hall Lobby on Day 2.

(Those who went through registration on Day 1 and are wearing their name badge can enter the 5F conference center as-is.)

To get to the 5F Conference Center, first enter the Sumitomo Fudosan Shinjuku Grand Tower building, and head in towards the elevator hall.

You can get to the 5F by taking the elevators marked “A 5–13”

Finally…

You’re here!

Tokyo really is a concrete jungle….
