Drool Worthy World is a Sydney-based food blog founded by three avid foodies: LeeLoo, Tommy H and Gourmet Gumbo. We visit cafes and restaurants across Sydney from the bustling CBD to its suburban outskirts. Whether you want to enjoy a lovely weekend brunch with your besties, a quick fix for lunch, a fancy schmancy fine dining experience or a sugar fix, we’ve got it all covered.
From time to time, we will also venture interstate and overseas and will share our favourite must-try foodie spots at these locations.
Meet the Team
LeeLoo, Chief Executive Officer
Aside from the absence of orange hair, there is one other thing that makes LeeLoo unlike her alien counterpart: her tendency to drool all over her food — hence, the name of her brainchild: Drool Worthy World. LeeLoo loves to indulge in all things gloriously deep fried from Golden Gaytimes to Korean Fried Chicken. Another weakness is her love of sticky BBQ pork ribs for which she always keeps a stash of handy wet wipes so everyone can get down and dirty without worry. LeeLoo has evolved a second stomach for dessert so there’s always room for chocolate. Tea is a must with every meal.
Tommy H, Editor in Chief
Tommy H has been eating for 26 years, though for the first 24, has had a diet consisting of mainly the most mainstream food ever. After his first time at brunch, he entered a brave new world of interesting cuisines which he would not have otherwise even thought off. Now, he goes out with LeeLoo, exploring new things and tastes, and writes about his most pleasant experiences. Staying true to his roots, however, he has a penchant for Asian cuisines, especially Chinese and Vietnamese dishes. In addition, he likes making bad food jokes that only seem palatable to LeeLoo.
Gourmet Gumbo, Marketing Director
When asked about hobbies and interests, Gourmet Gumbo doesn’t hesitate to answer with “EATING”. I mean, she’s got a food blog (now) to show just how far her love for food extends. She’s on a mission to find the coolest and most delicious food gems in the Sydney region. She’s also quite adventurous with her food options, endeavouring to try relatively unknown cuisines once in a while. She’s studying at uni, so she tries to hunt for some really budget-friendly options. Her favourite cuisine is Korean, from their spicy rice cakes to juicy KBBQ — she loves it all!
