Easy Peach Cobbler
Perfect for this time of year
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 stick of butter
- 1 can — (28 oz) sliced peaches
Optional — cinnamon and brown sugar sprinkled on top
Preheat oven to 350
Directions:
Put 1/2 of the stick of butter in a pan (I use an iron skittle), but 9x13 will work, and put in the oven to melt
Mix flour, sugar, and milk together until well blended
Pour into pan
Dump peaches with juice evenly over the mixture
DO NOT STIR
Cut the remaining butter and place it on top. Add cinnamon and brown sugar at this point if desired
Bake 30 -40 minutes until golden brown
