Our frozen Parity wallets are listed below. For more information about this global Crypto Natural Disaster, please refer to here and here.

TL;DR:

Each Parity multisig wallet is a smart contract — or a software running on the blockchain. This software runs some code in a library on the Ethereum blockchain. On 6th Nov 2017 02:33:47 PM +UTC, an event happened and wiped out the library code run by the Parity multisig wallets.

Therefore, whenever we want to withdraw ETH from our Parity multisig wallets, we would have to symbolically run the “withdraw” command. But the code of this command is already GONE. In effect, we can no longer withdraw ETH from our Parity multisig wallets, even though ETH is still there!

You can check the code each Parity multisig wallet to confirm on your own.

  1. Go to https://etherscan.io

2. Enter the address of a Parity multisig wallet into the text box on the top right corner. For example, 0x0D8c9B040651F621ee26f076C57910E86Aab0bC0

You can see that 22.026070916 ETH is still there. However, it CANNOT be withdrawn now.

3. Check out the source code of this Parity multisig wallet by clicking on the “Contract Source” tab.

On our DropDeck.io team's side, we went through our normal procedure to withdraw ETH from the Parity multisig wallets where one owner after another signed the transaction. However, since the code for the multisig wallet smart contract was already gone, nothing happened.

When will this be solved?
The answer is probably: indefinite. For more information, refer to “Parity Will Not Pursue Hard Fork to Unfreeze 500,000 Ether.”
