First thoughts on why we are launching our instant contract creator tool.
A year ago, we have decided to launch our own NFT collection. As a non-developer, without any knowledge of code, solidity, or .json format (for creating generative collectibles), I have immediately hit the invisible barrier. No matter we knew a lot of designers and had almost a dozen artists on hand immediately interested in preparing the art, I could not put together a simple thing: a single smart contract for our NFT collection.
After many attempts, membership in various developer DAOs (btw, D4R or Developer DAO was really one of the best, having probably the most vital and fruitful community in web3), and lots of talks with our dev community, we have embarked on a slightly different journey. We decided to not only prepare drops, with some of the best artists but also to build a simple product. A quick, easy-to-use tool, which would help you to create your own smart contract without the knowledge of solidity language or writing a single line of any code.
Our vision was simple. We decided to make Droplove Contract Deployer so easy, that even your grandma would be able to deploy it. Set your name, symbol, and supply. Test it. Deploy it on main-net. Add your links to assets later, or anytime you want, right after you will be sure, your contract works and you see it on Etherscan.
Simplicity and ease of deploying blockchain smart contracts is one thing we baked into Droplove. The other thing is our vision to build a real, decentralised smart contract generator. A tool that will allow the creation of NFT minting contracts for anyone. A tool that will democratise NFTs, by removing the need for knowledge of code. However, we did not stopped short with just the option to create smart contracts.
With Droplove Dashboard, we are giving you the power of constant control over NFTs minted on your contract. The owner of the contract can change the address to visual files & metadata anytime, allowing creators to turn NFTs into dynamic multimedia channels. Each contract owner can transfer the control and whole contract to a third party, making Droplove a super-powerful web3 tool, dressed as a tiny three-step contract shop in web3 metaverse.
This of course is only the beginning. We have planned whole years ahead, filled with further product launches, curated mint drops by some of the best artists out there, and tons of utility for all the stakeholders. Right now, you are very early, but soon, very soon there will be a chance for some of you, to get access to early Droplove and enjoy it yourselves. We will be giving beta access to Droplove to the first 990 holders of DRPLV Mint Passes, launching in a couple of weeks.
This is just the beginning of an exciting new era in a more fair, democratised world, where anyone will be able to issue their own NFTs, metaverse wearables, or currencies. We are inviting you to join us, and help us to shape our product for the needs of the community.
