It’s been a great ride so far, having released the Creator Launchpad and the initial creator-focused launch of DROPSPOT Marketplace (DSM.). But most importantly getting to know, understand and service the Cardano community, and making a lot of friends along the way, has been the most rewarding part of the journey so far!

The first iteration of Creator Launchpad has now minted 69 collections by 60 artists., launching mesmerising NFT’s for the Cardano community to collect and trade.

We take pride in the feedback, that our CX — creator-experience — is best that all have used. It’s easy, fast and intuitive — especially for those that are experienced Web3 creators — but more importantly those that are completely new to Web3, and those making the leap from you know where, have found it super easy to use.

Creator Launchpad is a complimentary service for the creative community — you can mint and launch collections totally free. It’s our way of giving back. We removed the need for new creators to have ADA in their wallet to launch, which saves hours from the onboarding process, and removes a sizable barrier of entry, especially to those new to crypto and Web3.

As it’s a free service, we currently provide restricted access, but we offer a fully curated service for our creators, and interact closely with them — at a level that other platforms do not. DROPSPOT MARKETPLACE. is totally focused on the experience. From day 1, we’ve created a structured operation with systems and process in place to support a scaling business — it’s not just a platform; we’ve built a pro team to engage with and be part of the community, launching global campaigns alongside Cardano Foundation and Genius X, a great partner of ours.

As an innovator in this space, we were the first marketplace to truly service the On-Chain category of NFTs, promoting their beautiful, interactive and thought-provoking art, and from a Smart Contract standpoint, we’ve been a leader in adopting Layer-2 frameworks for expediting, simplifying, and improving the way in which contracts are built, maintained and deployed.

This leads to a more efficient, transparent, and auditable approach to contract development. More to come on this in a future publication.

We’re also going to be releasing features and extra functionality to our marketplace that will see some exciting new ways to support NFT liquidity and stimulate trade. Our UI & CX will also see some market leading enhancements. Some of these are detailed in this article, and some of these will be announced shortly. Do keep a look out as we think you’ll love them.

We’ve also learnt a lot on the way and taken onboard some valuable and considered feedback from the community. I thank those for the time and care they’ve taken in reaching out and providing this to us. We have listened and incorporated this into our plan from both a service and a feature standpoint.

We’ve scaled our team and have added two legends in Vivid#4516 and Smurfy#3623 to help with community and social management. And along the way have been heavily advised by a true Cardano OG in $ShaZ | Danketsu#1736.

We have some exciting partnerships, events and activations to announce for the short and long term, but for now, I’ll talk more specifically about some key features to look out for in the immediate to near term:
