One of the most common questions you, our users, have been asking goes along the following line of thought:
“I am building a magazine/news site, but I like that that business theme of yours. Does it make sense to buy it and repurpose to my needs?”
In general, it seems you often have the need to repurpose theme designs of ours (e.g.: business/corporate) for other kinds of websites (e.g.: news/academic). We’ve been thinking for a while now, how we could make this easier for you, our users.
Here’s our take.
Meet theme families
Starting with Minimal+, we’ll be giving it a shot releasing families of theme distributions. On the front-end, each family will be based on a single styleguide, and will consist of at least three types of themes
- a theme for corporate/business sites,
- a theme for school / academic sites,
- and a theme for magazine / news sites,
and from then on, we’ll see what other needs come up next.
Two themes in the price of one, for pro users
The need to build more than one types of websites with a given design is more prominent among those users of ours that build websites for a living — like we have ourselves in the past. We’d like to make it so that it’s worth the investment for you, to commit to a certain styleguide for building multiple different websites.
