Developing good habits takes a significant amount of work. It doesn’t happen overnight. However, the micro-changes approach is the best way to implement any habit in your life. How does it work? Simple, all you need to do is spend some time each day.

“ YOU WILL NEVER CHANGE YOUR LIFE UNTIL YOU CHANGE SOMETHING YOU DO DAILY. “

Keep in mind that several studies suggest that habits account for nearly half of all of our actions. From what we think, to what we say and what we do are controlled by the habits that we possess.

So, the more that you can focus on improving your habits, the better you’ll be at doing things like growing your business, achieving your goals, getting a great degree, or even making an abundant amount of money.

In this article, I have explained 5 habits you should follow in your life, and then you will get unbelievable results.

1. Reading :

Every successful person is a reader. Reading books change your thought process and also the way you are thinking. The habit of reading is one of the best qualities that a person can possess. Books are known to be your best friend for a reason.

Reading helps a great deal in building your confidence, reduces stress, and puts you in a better mood. Reading is the best kind of refreshment that you need from your hectic life schedule.

So no matter how busy you are, do not forget to make time for yourself and your books. Now if you are a person who doesn’t read, well it’s never too late to start.

“A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies . . . The man who never reads lives only one.”

— George R.R. Martin

Sometimes due to your busy schedule, you don’t get enough time to read so for that you can listen to an audiobook summary.

All the milliners and billionaire like Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Warren Buffet they have the habit of reading. Even Elon Musk start their company SpaceX by taking knowledge only through books and the internet without doing their formal education in Rocket Science.

Learning from other’s experiences by reading their books saves your lots of time and we can avoid the mistakes that they have done.

Here are some great books that I suggest you for reading :

  1. The Intelligent Investor
  2. Think and Grow Rich
  3. Rich Dad Poor Dad
  4. The Power of your Subconscious Mind
  5. The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People
  6. The One Thing
  7. How to win friends and influence people

2. Planning :

In your career to accomplish every task, work, the goal you require planning. Planning each day will not only help you make the best use of your time, but it will also allow you to modify your goals and priorities as new things arise.

It is much easier to predict what is going to happen in three hours than what is going to happen in three days, so breaking down your planning into daily chunks will ensure you that you won’t have to go back and erase several days and start over because something in your life suddenly changed.

A goal without a plan is just a wish

— Antoine de Saint-Exupery

I recommend creating your daily plan for the next day at night before going to sleep rather than first thing in the morning.

This way, you will know exactly what you need to do as soon as you wake up in the morning, which will prevent you from having a chunk of time that could go to waste as you’re slowly getting up to create your schedule.

The key to having a productive day is being prepared. Making sure that your priorities are clear every day is the best way to make sure that you are having a successful day. Soon enough, you will begin to see that you do have enough hours in your day to do everything that needs to get accomplished.

Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four hours sharpening the ax — this is a good example of planning.

3. Time Management :

Having good time management skills will help you improve the quality of your work, your ability to practice self-discipline, your decision-making abilities, and increase the number of things you can get accomplished in one day.

Knowing how to effectively manage your time can create a cycle that can improve all aspects of your life.

The key to doing better is to develop a time management skill that helps you focus on what’s important in your life.

Divide your time according to the type of work like it is important, more important, urgent, more urgent and give them a priority. You can do your more important work when your focus and confidence level is high so it will require less time to.

If you wake up 2 hours early in the morning then at the end of the year you will get 30 days extra to do something great.

It seems that there is never enough time in the day. But, since we all get the same 24 hours, why is it that some people achieve so much more with their time than others? The answer lies in good time management.

Spending your day in a frenzy of activity often achieves less, because you’re dividing your attention between so many different tasks. Good time management lets you work smarter — not harder — so you get more done in less time.

4. Communication :

Communication skills are the abilities you use when giving and receiving different kinds of information. Some examples include communicating new ideas, feelings, or even an update on your project. Communication skills involve listening, speaking, observing, and empathizing.

Nowadays it is important to be a good communicator. Daily improve communication by talking to the businessman and successful people about their lifestyle, work, and analyze their thought process.

To effectively communicate, we must realize that we are all different in the way we perceive the world and use this understanding as a guide to our communication with others.
- Anthony Robbins

Developing your communication skills can help all aspects of your life, from your professional life to social gatherings and everything in between.

Professionally, if you are applying for jobs or looking for a promotion with your current employer, you will almost certainly need to demonstrate good communication skills.

In your personal life, good communication skills can improve your relationships by helping you to understand others, and to be understood. Communication skills can also ensure that you can manage interactions with businesses and organizations.

Good communication skills can improve the way that you operate through life, smoothing your way in your relationships with others.

Poor communication skills, on the other hand, can sour relationships from business to personal, and make your life significantly harder.

5. Keep tracking your progress :

Tracking progress is a powerful tool. When you track your progress, you naturally become more purposeful about the work you do, which can create the kind of meaning that so many of us search for in our daily work.

“Most of us make advances small and large every single day, but we fail to notice them because we lack a method for acknowledging our progress. This is a huge loss.”

Progress can be in terms of your goals, work or it can be any task. Break out large tasks into smaller pieces and visualize them.
When you’re facing a large project, your first step should be to break it out into smaller goals.

Then, break those goals down into smaller tasks. The more chances you have to feel like you “finished” part of it, the more motivation you’ll get from your progress. Small wins are massive motivators. But we rarely recognize them.

You can also write in a diary for 5 minutes a day. At the end of each day, take a few minutes to write about what you worked on. Make sure to note both your “small wins” and any setbacks.

At the end of the month, flip back through your notes and see how far you’ve come. It’s amazing the clarity you get from seeing the progress you made over a longer period.

To get the most out of this approach, try going analog and use a paper notebook rather than a word doc or your phone.

So these are the 5 habits that will make your life easy and it will play an important role while pursuing your goals and dreams.
