Due to COVID-19, today we can’t predict how fresh hiring will happen for 2021–22 graduates? In fact, we also don’t know when the hiring process will be get started and how much it would be.

Recently, The Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) will hold special placement drives for those students whose job offers got cancelled amid the coronavirus outbreak. So we can see that how much impact of coronavirus on placement drive all over India.

So as a safe side “GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering)” Exam will be a great carrier option for 2021–22 graduate students. You will get more option after GATE exam like you can apply in Public Sector Units (PSUs), M Tech, MS, PHD etc.

In fact, after your Post Graduation (PG) all the companies condition will get normal. So after that, you can think about your placement.

If you are preparing for GRE, I think no one can think about abroad study till one or two years. In most of the countries, the economy is getting down so their unemployment also increases. So you can think of it after your PG till you will get time for preparation also.

In India, most of the companies are service-based and some of it depends on other countries and the economy of other countries get down due to corona crisis so somehow it will directly affect Indian IT Companies.

Also, the mass-recruiting companies like Infosys, TCS and Wipro said that there will not be any new recruitment for the coming year.

So by considering above all condition, it is up to you, what to do. If you want to go for placement go for it. It’s not like that there will not be fresh hiring from companies. Definitely there will be hiring but in fewer numbers. If you want to go for GATE and other competitive exams go for it.

At last only the thing is that stick to the one decision and do it with full dedication…
