Azure Developer Day at Microsoft!

The Azure Developer Day which was organized by Azure Developer Community is an event specially crafted for networking opportunities, great insights and guidance from experts for newbies and startups. It also comprises practical learning, inspiration and ideas and community building. This time I had an opportunity to visit the Microsoft Office, Bangalore to be a part of it and the experience was surreal! I am a pre final year student pursuing my Bachelor’s Degree in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at K S School of Engineering and Management, Bangalore. Being a passionate and aspiring graduate this event deeply resonated with me and my field of interest! There were three industrial experts who shared their expertise and made every minute of the event interesting.
Anil Agarwal, CEO and co-founder of InCRuiter spoke about the seamless integration of Artificial Intelligence in the process of hiring. He provided a brief insight into how this idea has revolutionized the entire process of HR interviews. The AI software used for the video driven interviews adheres the five features of a Responsible AI: Reliability, Privacy and Security, Fairness, Inclusiveness, Transparency and Accountability. The benifits of it includes increased speed and efficiency, cost reduction and an unbiased process of hiring making it an effective and efficient choice for the companies.
Ayush Rathi, Senior Engineering Manager at Walmart Global Tech shared his expertise in Azure AI Speech Services, Data Science and Machine Learning. The event continued with a detailed explanation about Azure cognitive services and Azure AI speech services.
Saurav Raghuvanshi, Azure PaaS Engineer at Microsoft shared valuable insights on Generative AI and types of Gen AI models, Azure Open AI services. The discussion on AI Image generation models, LLMs and Copilots followed by a detailed explanation of deploying web applications using Azure AI services, made the event informative. The importance of problem solving using technology and networking made the session more interactive.
The event was wholesome and highly informative. I personally resonated with many aspects discussed. I extend my sincere thanks to all three experts for sharing their valuable insights, and my appreciation to the Azure Developer Community for organizing this incredible event. It has been a catalyst for learning new things, motivating me, and inspiring me to upskill, aiming to make a meaningful impact in my field. Thankful to everyone who made this experience possible!
