Developer Student Clubs KIET Recruitment 2020

2020 is about to start after a year-long journey of learning, developing and innovating here at DSC KIET. People have connected and grown a lot since our inception, and we are thrilled to announce that recruitments are around the corner.

Wait, What? Who are we? What is DSC KIET?

Developer Student Clubs (DSC) is a Google Developers program for university students to broaden their access to world-class technology curricula and to give the large Indian student community a head start on the latest technologies like Machine Learning, IoT, Mobile, and Web Development. It is open to any student, ranging from novice (who have just begun) to advanced developers (who wish to hone their skills further). It is intended to be a space for students to learn and collaborate as they continue to solve real-world problems.

DSC KIET is a local chapter of one of the Developer Community Programs in KIET, Ghaziabad that aims at providing a tasteful platform to students in order to expand and excel collectively. Since Feb’2019, we have conducted workshops, codelabs and a Major League Hackathon to rally techies with a hunger for innovation and to have a can-do attitude.

DSC KIET recruitments related information will be shared via emails, social media handles and WhatsApp groups, so please make sure you are updated on a regular basis.

The recruitments will progress on the basis of three main domains:

• Technical
• Design
• Social Media Handler & Content Writer

Each domain has several sub-domains where interested candidates can choose to apply accordingly.

TECHNICAL DOMAIN:

In this domain, we have the following openings:

• Front-End Web Development (HTML, CSS, Basic JS with a framework of choice{ReactJS/AngularJS/VueJS)
• Back-End Web Development(Nodejs, Django, Flask, GoLang)
• Mobile App Development (using Kotlin)
• Mobile App Development (using Flutter)
• Python + Machine Learning
• IoT

ROUND 1 (Online): You will have to attempt a 2-hour long coding contest on Hackerrank platform. This contest will have 5 questions, which would check if you can code in the language of your choice.

ROUND 2 (Offline): Further, candidates selected from ROUND 1 on the basis of fair cut-offs will then be invited for an offline interview. You will be asked a few technical questions on your chosen domain. Based on your responses, you will be assigned a task.

ROUND 3 (Final): You will be judged on the basis of your assigned task performance and the time of submission of your task.

After each round, you will be intimated about your eligibility via the appropriate channels.

DESIGN DOMAIN:

In this domain, we have the following openings:

• UI Designing
• Graphic Designing
• Video Editing

ROUND 1 (Online): You will have to submit your previous work on the basis of which you will be shortlisted for the offline round.

ROUND 2 (Offline): Further, candidates selected from ROUND 1 will then be invited for an offline interview. You will be questioned on a few domain-specific materials. Based on your responses, you will be assigned a task.

ROUND 3 (Final): You will be judged on the basis of your assigned task performance and the time of submission of your task.

After each round, you will be intimated about your eligibility via the appropriate channels.

SOCIAL MEDIA/CONTENT WRITER DOMAIN:

In this domain, we have the following openings:

• Social Media Marketing
• Content Writer

ROUND 1 (Online): You will have to submit your previous work on the basis you will be shortlisted for the offline round.

ROUND 2 (Offline): Further, candidates selected from ROUND will then be invited for an offline interview. You will be asked a few domain-specific questions. Based on your responses, you will be assigned a task.

ROUND 3 (Final): You will be judged on the basis of your assigned task performance and the time of submission of your task.

After each round, you will be intimated about your eligibility via the appropriate channels.

Once this long process concludes, shortlisted applicants will be sent out messages about their selection and also by our social media handles.
