Hands-on Android Codelab
A major share of hand-held devices runs on Android which is open source and customizable. This hands-on codelab on android development helped participants in building the concepts and methodologies needed to develop mobile applications. The students learned to use different android libraries, designing layouts, multiple skin activities and java fundamentals
It was the workshop with complete “Hands-On Training Methodology”. The basic knowledge of programming was required for attending this workshop, the students don’t have to be a geek for it! The session started with multiple skin activities and different layouts all its way to developing a fully functional Android application.
We arranged swags and organized quizzes to make the session bit more interactive.
Highlights:
-Students are able to develop their own Android applications
-Interactive session
-Group Discussions to encourage innovation
-Students are currently working on #DSCSolutionChallenge19
-Completed one Capstone Project by April 4
We developed very interesting Apps and all the students enjoyed this session. They enjoyed this process of learning by Workshops and Capstone Projects. They were sceptical initially but in the end, they feel good to see their own app working on their Android devices.
