How Journey of DSC KIET started?
Well, as we all know that “when there is a will, there is a way”. When Aakash Goel got the opportunity to start this club powered by Google Developers, it seemed impossible to him. But then he thought about giving it a shot and successfully managed to hit the bulls-eye.
As Steve Jobs said, “Great things are never done by one person. They’re done by a team of people”. This leads us to another major point of Team-Formation. First he selected some good developers for core technical team from his peer groups who can help and guide others. Then his next step was to set up a non-technical core team of photographer, videographer and blogger.
Proposing your idea to higher authority and getting it sanctioned is one of the important tasks. We requested the authorities for the same and fortunately, we get all the support from the department authorities to organize workshops, trainings and our personal work space for all types of discussions and development.
After all this, we started our journey of Developer Student Clubs Community with a workshop on Introduction to GitHub and how to select the area of interest as an Individual.
Currently, we are having almost 100 members as a part of our community, and we are still expanding!
