Instructional Materials for Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
In recent years, cloud services have spread rapidly. Among many public clouds, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) has received a great deal of attention.
Why Should We Learn GCP?
“You can use the same infrastructures that Google has in-house.”
- GCP has a high level of security
- GCP has a great data analysis tool, BigQuery. The entire organization, not just a few experts, can use the data to develop business strategies and improve operations.
For learning GCP, there are so many free official materials from Google. I will introduce one-by-one.

Google Official Documents
GCP has documents for developers. It must be helpful and good to learn.
Qwiklabs
Qwiklabs is an online learning environment for GCP from Google. You can choose and learn content from several services. As of October 2018, there are a total of 255 labs available.
The nice thing about Qwiklabs is that you can try them out in a cloud environment. You get a temporary account and a GCP project, so you can start using it from a clean environment. It is also carefully explained with screen captures and the commands you need can be copied, making it a great option if you know what services you want to use with GCP.
