“Awesome Public Datasets” to help fight your research writers-block

We all have our favorite datasets (GSS , FRED, etc.) but sometimes, whether you have a class project or a research interest, you don’t even know where to start.

The awesome public datasets GitHub page can be a fun jumping off point! They have data sources listed alphabetically by topic.

Sometimes the data you want doesn’t exist and sometimes you just don’t know where to find it! Another great resource if you’re looking for publicly available data can be the Google Dataset Search.
