In two different worlds, two very different life forms thought to themselves…

A little boy stares into the sky,

The spaceship could not be seen by the naked eye.

The little alien was on a drive,

His father told him that Earth was no place for an alien to thrive,

But he visits anyway because it makes him feel alive,

The little boy asks his mother about aliens and she weeps.

“Go to bed and get those crazy thoughts out of your head!”

He only replies,

My mind rarely sleeps

The little alien asks his father if there is life on Earth.

His father says there is nothing of worth.

The little aliens hopes now in ruins,

the father thinks to himself,

I dont like humans

The little boy goes to bed,

with dreams in his head.

That one day he will meet an alien friend.

He will say “Nice to meet ya!”

Wanna get some pizza?
Drive

The little alien goes for another drive.

He stops by earth and still feels alive.

There must be something of worth,

here on Earth.

The little alien grows up and gets busy, as aliens do.

He visits Earth less and less.

But when he does it’s the only thing that can relieve his stress.

The little boy grows up and becomes the best pizza maker in Belgium.

He no longer stares at the sky because that’s weird.

But in the window of his pizza shop reads a sign that says “Aliens Welcome.”

No need to fear.

This story is not over.

They will meet someday, my dear.

The man will say, “Wanna get some pizza?”

To which the alien will say, “Why yes. It sure is nice to meet ya!”

THE END
