My digital dérive includes me diving into a wormhole on youtube. I started off my journey by just typing in two simple words “Stupid Shit.” Thus my journey began with a video with people doing stupid things. The first thing that popped up was a bunch of people surrounding a monkey. They decided to give the monkey a AK-47. The monkey started letting off rounds and people began to scatter.

Next the video that was presented was a video of near death experiences. Cleverly in the title the publisher put “[FailForceOne]” This video entailed a lot of crazy things happening, things like: A person holding onto a glider for dear life, a bear almost swiping a dude of a snowmobile, a yacht crashing over a fishing boat, etc.

Next video was a wild police chase video. A white van was going into oncoming traffic. He wrecks into cars, and is still going strong. The video is helicopter coverage. The chase went on for a half hour. He has been invading many officers, after getting pinned multiple times he was still going strong. The van is severely damaged. Again this man is still going strong. The police laid down spike strips, and the van is still going strong. Finally the criminal tried to make a run for it, and he did not get far before over 15 polices officers tackled him.

Now we take a little bit of a left turn. The next video that popped up was a Hot Ones interview. It is a show with hot questions, and even hotter wings. The interview was with Ken Jeong. Known for his role in “The Hangover.” Of course now the next videos that popped up are going to be affiliated with Ken Jeong. The next video that played was about the TV show “Masked Singer.” Talking about Ken Jeong’s reaction to the contestants revealed.

Now we go from “The Masked Singer” to a video of Johnny Knoxville breaking down all of the injuries of his career. This video has Johnny Knoxville going back to all the to 1998 to now (present time) talking about all of his injuries. Of course a lot of these injuries were from his tv show “Jackass.” Some of his injuries were breaking his ankle, splitting his head open, etc. He got knocked out so bad he tried to swallow his tongue. Also talks about the time he almost put a hole in is ribs with a rocket, and almost decapitated people that worked on the show.

The last video on my half hour journey is a interview with Mass Murderer Charles Manson. This interview dates back to 1987. Charles Manson talks about how he does not feel guilty, he feels like he has not “done enough.” Then proceeding to say “I can take this book and beat you to death with it, and I would not feel a thing.” Very interesting video. This journey has been very interesting. Starting off with a monkey shooting a Ak-47, then ending with an in-depth interview with one of the biggest murders in U.S history.
