They tried to mitigate human-elephant conflict. But that conflict was to extreme for any human to handle. There were two that tried, and only one succeeded.

He tried despite being the star of the pro-war conflict. He wanted desperately to end this before it required an additional investment for the private anti-elephant companies. He called for a negotiation.

She tried to end it all. Calling all to listen in the garden near flowers in neat flowerbeds. They listened, humans and elephants. “I know this isn’t something easily remedied but our peoples are dying. He knows it. And now we have to finish this.” She led them in their plan for the end.

There was nothing she could have done to stop him. The dock workers removed them from the water using cranes. He killed her. He never wanted her to see, but he did his part. Now they may face occasional attacks, but he has solved their warring disputes. They never put aside their differences, but they had to fix it, and they did.
