Dtravel Bi-Weekly Update 1.23.22
Hi all,
The Dtravel team is preparing our platform for a string of big updates which we can’t wait to share with you in the upcoming months. This week, we have added an updated price card for checkout and booking as well as a new booking cancellation flow.
With our previous Wallet upgrade featuring BSC compatibility, wallet withdraw/deposit at all stages of payment flow and UX improvements — the Dtravel Wallet serves as a fully functional custodial settlement layer for travel booking with more features to be added at anytime. Try it out and let us know what you’d like to see in the Dtravel Wallet in the future.
Updated Price Cards
It’s imperative that a traveler knows all upcoming costs and doesn’t get hit with hidden fees. Dtravel price cards will now include all taxes + fees along with the base fee so the entire payment is reflected before checking out.
Reservation Cancellations
Users can now cancel a booking if the the following conditions are met:
- Booking status must be CONFIRMED or SUCCESSFUL
- Cancel date is before the check-in date
- Booking type = REFUNDABLE and/or CANCELLABLE
UI/UX improvements
- Improved map zoom ratio allowing users to have a clearer overview of the properties in the city they are looking for.
Our previous update featured the following–
- BEP20 (Binance Smart Chain) Supported for TRVL in Dtravel Wallet.
- Users can deposit to their Dtravel wallet directly on checkout page if funds are not sufficient.
Extra Wallet feature enhancements
- Updated the UI/UX for Wallet pages: Overview, Deposit, Withdraw
- Updated Wallet Transaction details to be more transparent and more informative for users
UI/UX improvements
- Changed sorting logic in My Bookings page that helps users to find their bookings/properties more easily
- Updated new modal/popup forms
- Updated Host sign-up flow (Host waitlist)
