Dtravel Platform UI/UX Update Notes

The Dtravel team has shipped out more updates to our app functionality and user interface. The development team is steadily growing and we couldn’t be more excited to extend the capabilities of the Dtravel platform.

But first, let’s review the newest updates:

• Search box optimization
• Local tax and fee display
• Map updates
• Improved responsiveness on tablets/iPads.

Search box optimization: check-in and check-out dates

Before this update, guests had to click both the check-in and check-out date to modify their search. Now, guests can click on which date box they would like to change and change that one only.

Mandatory taxes and fees listed at check-out

In the name of transparency, our UI now displays all local taxes and fees before checkout. Guests know exactly how much they pay before embarking on their trip with no hidden fees.

MAP UPDATES

Improved clustered property UI

When searching an area with a dense volume of stays, the map now cleanly displays each of the properties, allowing guests to easily browse listings and zoom in to separate stays. Try it out on both mobile and desktop versions of the app!

Improved pagination UI

We have removed the clunky pagination UI when searching in areas with 10 or less stays.

Improved responsiveness on tablets/iPads

Responsiveness on tablet screen sizes has been improved. While this remains a work in progress, our goal is to have fully responsive app functionality for all mobile and tablet devices to book on the go.
