Has the question “can racism be stopped or will it ever die?” surfaced as a trending topic? Yes. Now, is it capable of “dying” or “stopping” anytime soon? Probably not. It’s a pretty disturbing fact that racism will never die, but can only evolve.

Over the past couple of years, racism has, yet again, found its way back to the surface of deathly worries of the public because it has become a threat for some lives. For example, back in the ’50s and 60s, racism was at its primetime moments where our grandparents can tell stories about using separate restrooms or eating out back behind a restraurant. Milenneials today have the opportunity to defy those actions and allow change to take place.

However, there are those milennieals that are following the footsteps of their grandparents.

Yes, racism has evolved because it is now become a deeper message of hate towards one another. For example, there are more expressed feelings against asians because they cannot speak perfect english without an accent. It is unfair to someone to treat them like sh*t because they have a strong accent and cannot speak without it.

Who are white americans to say that someone has to change their voice to “sounds” like an american?

[This is definitely a draft, but I need help developing this opinion piece. I know I want to talk about racism and how it is a disturbing thing, but how can I keep my audience engaged into this well-known topic?]
