We’ve partnered with fighting game legend Justin Wong (aka Jwong) to host a special leaderboard challenge event this Friday, May 10 at 20:00 UTC.

About the Event

Dubbz lets you wager on 1v1 matches in games like Street Fighter 6. Challenge friends directly or set an open wager for any active player to accept.

For this event, we’ve added a leaderboard specifically for Street Fighter 6 and lasting only from 20:00 UTC to 21:00 UTC this Friday, May 10. It will be a race to most wins within the hour.

You will be matched randomly and, to spice things up, we’ve added one of the best Street Fighter 6 players in the world to the line up.

How to Participate

Participants must place wagers (of at least $1) or accept open wagers in Street Fighter 6 during this one hour event.

Matches are random. Not only can you double your money with every match you win, but we are also rewarding prizes to the top 3 in the leaderboard.

Sign up on Dubbz here and then enter the leaderboard competition here once you’re logged in.

  1. Navigate to the competition and click “Compete in Leaderboard”.

2. Click “Join”.

3. Select your platform to play SF6, enter your Fighter ID, and then submit!

How to Place & Accept a Wager

Watch the below video for a walkthrough of how to place and accept wagers during this leaderboard challenge! Make sure to get some practice matches in now so you’re ready for the event. You can wager as little as $1 with a friend or set an open wager for anyone active on the platform.

Prizes

To achieve first place, you don’t have to beat Jwong directly! You only have to have the most wins in total across all of your random match ups.

The top 3 winners will receive their winnings directly to their Dubbz accounts.

  • $300 First Place (funded to your account balance)
  • $50 Second Place (funded as wager credits)
  • $25 Third Place (funded as wager credits)

About Jwong

If you don’t know him already, Jwong is largely considered one of the greatest fighting game players of all time. He holds the most titles (9!) in the Evolution Championship Series and, in 2010, became the first American fighting games player to be sponsored by an eSports organization. A true OG.

All of his matches during the competition will be livestreamed on his Twitch here.

What is Dubbz?

If you’re new to Dubbz, we enable you to wager on your own skills in live PvP matches across AAA and new games or asynchronous match ups in the arcade. You can directly challenge other gamers you already know, or set and accept open wagers against anyone active on the Dubbz platform.
