Some of you may have a reasonable question. How does a complex system like Ducatur can be decentralized? What powers all the processes and services? The answer is simple and pretty obvious — DUC token. But, the use cases of it may not be as simple as you can think.

DUCAT token, the engine of the whole framework, main purpose of which is being a pledge of solid interactions between every entity in the system, which itself contains several cycles of communication.

The first and the main cycle is a data one. The first side is the client, who has to input tokens to receive a certain amount of information into the smart-contract for further purposes decided by the user.

Data received by the client does not come out of air or out of single machine. It comes from the data-providers who create the flow of any kind of data from off-chain world to the on-chain one. Every providing node will be receiving a % of commission for their credible work, but in order to set up the provider a pledge of tokens should be placed as insurance of the data correctness. If expert fails to provide correct data token deposit will be burned and reputation he acquired will be lost.

Be trustless, be punished. Simple as that.

But, what can be done with the controversial cases? Client says he is right, provider says same. This is the situation where decentralized expert network takes place. Every one of them needs to put in the pledge too as a factor of their reliability.

So what we are trying to say is that the whole point of becoming a user of decentralized services is in ensuring safety, reliability and validity of data and services you receive, instead of paying for data itself. Every provider has no interest in providing corrupted data and causing harm to the system because with the drop of the quality of his data, quality of the whole system drop with THEIR OWN token’s value.

Tokens are circling between clients and experts when ones are paying for expert services and others are selling them to make profit. As the amount of smart-contracts grow, more nodes will be created, more experts will be needed and the system will develop itself. More data flows through, more value it has.

Tokens will be flowing through the system in at least 3 different networks (ETH, NEO, EOS), which will add even more flexibility and amount of use cases.
